Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil,  thousands are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States. Parishes welcome these new Catholics through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Listed below are some questions and answers about the process of Christian Initiation.

With current times being as they are - with the Coronavirus increasing - we unfortunately, have decided to temporarily suspend our R.C.I.A. process until the time when we can return to some degree of normalcy as it pertains to this rampant virus. Pete Adamcin and I will continue evangelizing R.C.I.A., fielding phone calls from interested people and conducting over-the-phone interviews, making adjustments and fine tuning our program as we go.

We will keep in touch with those interested; as soon as we are given the go-ahead from the powers that be, we will resume the R.C.I.A. process here at MHT.
