To all the members of Soup Patrol I want to thank you for your wonderful service to our homeless members.   It is amazing how a little soup and bread can make a difference in a person's life.  The  symbol of bread and soup are ancient in our faith culture.  It reminds us of service, compassion and hope.  All the elements of faith.

 

I know that this year was not easy with the ending of Covid restrictions.  It took a lot of perseverance and hard work to make this year's patrol successful.  And successful it was.  I also know it took a lot of your personal time away from family and other activities.  For this I want to thank you personally for your selflessness and concern.

 

Now that this year's patrol is finally finished I hope you will have the opportunity to recoup and celebrate the reich season of Easter knowing that you helped a lot of people in need.  I wish God's abundant blessing on all you and your families.  In the name of the people of our parish I thank you all.
