Moved by Christ's great commandment of love and the vision we believe flows from it for our faith community, we wholeheartedly accept as our mission, Chirst great comission to:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you."
(Matthew 28:19-20)

"Which commandment is the first of all?"
Jesus answered, "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one,  you shall love the Lord God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.'  The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'  There is no other commandment greater than these.

This great command ignites a passion leading us to commit ourselves to being an inclusive, joyful Christian faith community in the Roman Catholic tradition committed to:

• Ongoing growth in our relationship with the Lord and with all people
• Ongoing education that will lead us to a greater understanding of both our faith and the social issues of our community
• A firm resolve to actively welcome and invite others to join us in the work of building God's Kingdom
